A Meditative Moment

Enjoy this short Meditative Moment anytime throughout your busy day.

Sit in a comfortable, upright and open position. Hands resting on your
knees or in your lap. Rest, breathe, relax..............
Breathe life into your mind and body by taking a few deep, more deliberate
breaths. Letting go any tension or anxiety on the outbreaths.
Relax and rest a moment.
Close your eyes gently and bring your attention to the space in front of the eyes.
Be aware of your natural breathing as you rest your attention here a moment,
relaxing all the little muscles around the eyes, between the eyebrows,
and across your forehead.
Relax and let go of any thoughts and tension.
Your thoughts can be seen as small, white clouds,
drifting across the clear, blue sky..........
Relax, letting go of any residual tension or anxiety on each outbreath.
Enjoy the feeling of your breath as it passes through the nostrils.
Or bring your attention to the gentle rising and falling of your abdomen with
each inbreath and outbreath.
Resting and letting go even deeper into relaxation and peace..........

When you're ready, begin to move your hands and feet, and open your eyes only
when you're ready. You may wish to close them again and enjoy the refreshment
that your practice has brought for a little longer.........
Begin to move a little more and have a good stretch, just as a cat stretches after
a sleep in front of a warm fire.
Enjoy the refreshment that your meditation practice has given you.

May you be well. May you be content. May life shower you with love, joy and happiness.

Christine Convery (Gian Inder Kaur).

Meditation is so good for us on every level – physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. If you will just take 10-20 minutes a day to sit quietly, clear your mind, breath and relax, you will be amazed at the benefits.
